Mr. McGee was fantastic! He knew we were driving into town and going directly on his Gatlinburg Tour. We were going to be a few minutes late, so he informed the rest of the group and did not leave without us. He seemed very knowledgeable on the subject of ghosts. He had a great personality and was so excited about relaying his ghost knowledge to us that we were easily excited as well. There were some kids in our group, but not with my family, and he made sure to get the children involved. I loved that! I also loved that he did not hide his faith. I feel that is part of what drives him to do this work, so I am happy he shared that with us. He was not overbearing or pushy with it, he just simply told how his faith impacted his views on the afterlife. At the end of the regular ghost tour, he asked if anyone wanted to proceed to part two. My family took him up on it. Part two was where it was at! There was so much more information, and the experience at the mysterious mansion was a once in a lifetime experience! Spooky GOODness - Best time ever on a vacation. I took my teenage couch potato kids on this tour and we had a blast. Stacey didn't hesitate, and completed the tour with my group anyway (on the 4th of July, no less). We actually felt like VIP's. This tour is highly worth it. Great night for a Gatlinburg Ghost Tour with this company! After a week of hot sun, we had a post-rain drenched night for our tour. The crowds had disappeared and we were left with a misty night that set the stage. Our guide was really knowledgeable about the history of the area, the native peoples and the settlers both. It was great to learn about in an area so touristy and otherwise devoid of it's roots. We walked for hours, even though we probably only went 10 city blocks. There were several 'spooky' sites along the way where we were guided in using our senses to pick up any signals, etc and our two teenage girls seemed to really like this part. Girls week out! My sisters and my daughter went on a girls week out in may and after going to a few shows this caught our eyes now the others have taken a different ghost tour in Gatlinburg a few times in the past but this one called to me. We had everything planned out but it was not to be. The night we had decided to go was booked up so we took a different night and so glad we did. we had Allen all to our selves and had a ball. After looking over all the pictures there were a lot of great orbs and we all decided we have never had since a great experience as this one hand and fingers tingling and smells of things not there but there. Stacey was awesome! I have been on ghost tours in New Orleans and Stacey had exceeded my expectations. It was really neat to hear the history as well as real life experiences that he has had with the ghosts he was referring to as a paranormal investigator. I really liked when he talked about orbs and there were orbs in every picture. The lift started moving by itself after it was closed during our tour and the girl in the group had her show untie by itself earlier in the day. Fantastic experience, cannot wait to go again! What a fantastic night! We did this as a family while on holiday and it was truly the highlight of our family vacation! Stacey is beyond personable, likable but so knowledgeable! It wasn't just a ghostly tour but a history lesson all rolled into one! Fun and very spooky! I went with Appalachian GhostWalks last night. What a perfect way to celebrate Halloween! The tour was so much fun, but it also was so informative. Research had been carefully done (even the ghosts were researched!) and we learned about the early history of the town and the guide even pointed out and explained the architecture of the buildings. The Gatlinburg Ghost Tour is a very fun ghost walk indeed! This was our first ghost walk, and not at all what we expected, it was much better. Appalachian Ghostwalks Gatlinburg - My son, my great-niece, and I went on the Gatlinburg ghost walk on 6/22/2016 and had a great time. Our guide was very knowledgeable, polite, and engaging. This year was the third year in a row that my family and I have done a ghost walk with these guys. Weve tried other tours in the past that were... very lacking. To follow some guy around dressed up as a vampire with a cape and everything was embarrassing, also I found it very disrectful to traipse around a cemetery for 20 mins like we were told to do. Honestly a joke. The owner of Appalachian ghost walk is very professional and so likeable. He takes his time and answers any questions you may have. This Gatlinburg Ghost Tour was absolutely awesome! Very creepy and it did not disappoint. Our guide was VERY knowledgeable about literally every aspect of the tour and I was thoroughly impressed. I can't speak for everyone else on the tour but I personally experienced some unexplainable events that happened during this tour that left me no longer a skeptic. Best Ghostwalk Ever! Have been going on Ghostwalk tours for several years now and with several other companies but I would have to say that this one was the best one I have experienced to date. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining at the same time. His knowledge of ghost hunting was outstanding and I would have to say the same for his knowledge of the history of this particular location. The Gatlinburg Ghost Tour with Appalachian GhostWalks is lots of fun for entire family! Had a family reunion and some of us decided to take this tour one evening. All of us had a great time and enjoyed the tour. We have already decided to take one of the other tours next year when we have our reunion. Our group had ages from 4-66 years old. Five Stars!!! My daugther and two sisters planned a girls week away together. We have familey in Cades Cove and love all things history. Some of have taken a few other ghost tours so we needed new blood as to say, something different. We booked the Gatlinburg Ghost Tour with Appalachian GhostWalks and I will say we were so glad we did! We had Allen as our guide and he was wonderful!! So kind and full of love for all the spirits. We all have done many tours all over north Georgia, but this one - WOW! I have seen many differant things in my life, but was simply blown away. We have so many pictures with orbs all around us. My daugther and I smelled a lovely smell that we only could relate to. There was only us and Allen and all those that for what ever reason has decided to stay here that night. I am an elderly lady and I took this tour with my two granddaughters and loved it. The tour guide was very informative and entertaining. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. What a fantastic night on the Gatlinburg GhostWalk! We did this as a family while on holiday and it was truly the highlight of our family vacation! Stacey is beyond personable, likable but so knowledgeable! It wasn't just a ghostly tour but a history lesson all rolled into one! We learned so much, experienced so much and even discovered evidence ourselves! As a family we are already looking for reasons to return up north so we can do another tour of a different town! This was such a wonderful experience and with Stacey I feel like I gained a life long friend. I said it as soon as we met it was like we were kindered spirits. He is amazing as a tour guide and as a human being! There wasn't one moment we didn't enjoy, it's been several days later and our daughters and us are still talking about it! Hopefully we will return again soon, actually I'm looking into taking a class with him as well! Amazing History and Spooky Tour! Stacey is amazing! He is so informative and totally passionate about this tour! He took us to Dandridge, TN where we not only felt the spirits but learned of their lives and history there. Upon returning to Gatlinburg, we got to hear some real truth about the town and how it was settled. My husband and I stood in the freezing cold from daylight to dark and loved every single minute.
